Other Fun Features

Apple is adding a LiDAR scanner to the new iPhone, which will allow the iPhone to place augmented reality objects and map out space around you.

It will also improve accuracy and focus when a photo or video is being taken in an area with not very much light.

They are also bringing HDR video recordings to iPhones for the first time, which means they will be able to capture 60X more colors than before.

It is also the first smartphone camera, according to Apple, to record in Dolby Vision HDR.

Also, in a move to cut down on waste, Apple will not ship the iPhone 12 with headphones or a charging port.

They claim many customers already have headphones, so it’s an unnecessary addition.

Not to mention, many Apple users prefer AirPods over wired headphones.

Plus, by taking out the headphones and the charger port, the box will be smaller and lighter.
